Schools Phasing Out Cursive
It’s about damn time. I never understood why such emphasis was put on an arcane form of penmanship. They may as well teach architectural lettering… at least it is legible. (via thedw)
Quick sidebar: I spend Saturday morning at an elementary school open house with a predominantly international student body and was legitimately SHOCKED by how many parents were concerned with their child’s penmanship. What does this mean?
